Pneumatic control for fast efficient straight line dadoing, rabbeting or grooving. This machine has two templet systems: the pneumatic templet system for vertical cuts and the carriage lock system for horizontal cuts.
The operator can control the two-way power cross feed speed simply by adjusting the dial gage located next to the easy to read control panel. The control panel is located to the right of the carriage for easy access. The push button and toggle switches control the machine functions.
The carriage assembly has the Her-Saf crown shoe and pantographic action insuring an even depth of cut. The operator can easily adjust the carriage speed for depth and diameter of cut. Depth of cut is quickly adjusted by using the dial gage with pointer on the front of the carriage. The many safety aspects of this machine make it the best choice for dadoing. The all tubular steel frame construction adds to the durability and stability of this machine. The convenient working height allows the operator to easily load and unload workpieces.
The pneumatic templet system ensures accuracy and versatility. Make at least two templets at a time; that way the machine can be kept in operation while loading and unloading workpieces. Templets should always be the same thickness. This photo shows the templet in front of the workpiece, when in actuality the templet is behind the workpiece being read by the pneumatic system.
The vertical index templet with the locking carriage can be set up for a wide variety of horizontal dadoing, including T-slotting. Use the power cross feed rollers to automatically move materials through the machine. Spacing can be as close as 1" apart.
